I am proud of this partnership, that will bring excellence in entertainment to Brazil and throughout South America,” said Eike Batista, EBX Group Chairman
“We are very pleased to be partnered with Eike Batista. In a very short time IMX has become the most important sports and entertainment company in Brazil. The unique partnership with Cirque du Soleil that we announce today is further evidence of the future potential of this exciting business,” said Mike Dolan, IMG’s Chairman and CEO.
“Cirque du Soleil’s presence and awareness in South America has been longstanding and even before we started presenting any of our shows. South Americans, and most particularly, the people of Brazil, have adopted us early on from what they had seen of our shows on television, but more importantly, from our social programs and citizenship values presented through Cirque du Monde and that really touches me. I am proud to partner with IMX and more specifically my friend Eike to continue this amazing journey for years to come,” said Guy Laliberté, Founder of Cirque du Soleil.
“The partnership with Cirque du Soleil represents a historical moment in the entertainment industry in Brazil and South America. The creativity of Cirque du Soleil goes way beyond the big top shows that Brazilians are so familiar with. Through this new venture, the brand Cirque du Soleil will land in Brazil with all its magnitude, business potential and new products that have never been seen here before,” explains Alan Adler, CEO of IMX.
“I am so proud that we are creating a new partnership that is based on a long-term vision for South America. The people of South America not only have welcomed us with open arms, they have adopted us. It seemed completely natural for us to establish a long-term relationship to develop the live entertainment industry with a partner of the quality of IMX,” said Daniel Lamarre, President and CEO of Cirque du Soleil.
