The Brazil Film Fest is pleased to co-presenting two days of cinematic excellence with Toronto International Film and Video Awards (TIFVA)
at the Big Picture Cinema (1035 Gerrard Street E)
February 22nd and 23rd.  


A selection of winning and nominated films from TIFVA's 2012 season will be screened, with a special emphasis on works that were either made by women or exploring women's issues.

This promises to be an unforgettable event, empowering women through film. Whether you're an indie film lover or just curious about what up-and-coming filmmakers have to offer, this two-day cinematic event is sure to impress film enthusiasts from all walks of life.

Roadmap to Apartheid (dir. Ana Nogueira and Eron Davidson), an award-winning feature documentary that offers a thought-provoking exploration of the apartheid analogy often used to describe the Israeli-Palestinian situation. The film is one of the highlights of the event.
